LifeStar EMT Academy (Fall 2024)

LifeStar and 911 e-Learning Solutions are proud to offer this hybrid EMT Academy. This course is perfect for college
students attending colleges in and around the Winston Salem area. You
can complete the course over the semester and will have an employment opportunity immediately following class!

Student Prerequisites:

1. Must be 18 years of age
2. Possess a valid driver’s license
3. Have a HS Diploma, GED, or Higher Degree
4. Must have a clean criminal record*

REQUIRED ON-SITE DAYS:

• Sept. 27 (6p-9p)
• Sept. 28-29 (9a-6p)
• Oct. 11 (6p-9p)
• Oct. 12-13 (9a-6p)
• Oct. 25 (6p-9p)
• Oct. 26-27 (9a-6p)
• Nov. 8 (6p-9p)
• Nov. 9-10 (9a-6p)
• Nov. 15,16,17 (9a-6p)

All on-site days will be held at LifeStar Emergency Services in Winston Salem, NC.

*The North Carolina Office of EMS (NCOEMS) will not issue a
credential to anyone convicted of certain crimes, especially those of a
violent nature and/or those requiring the offender to be listed on a Sex
Offender** and Public Protection Registry (See 10A NCAC 13P .0511 Criminal Histories).

**Pursuant to the provisions of G.S.
131E-159(h), the Department shall not issue an EMS credential for any
person listed on the Department of Public Safety, Sex Offender and
Public Protection Registry, or who was convicted of an offense that
would have required registration if committed at a time when
registration would have been required by law.
